About Wendy

Hi, I’m Wendy Homan, and I believe every family has a story worth telling. For more than 40 years, I’ve been researching and preserving my own family’s history, and I’ve learned that the best discoveries are rarely about names and dates. They’re about the people behind them: what they cared about, what they overcame, and what they handed down to the generations who followed.

That passion led me to write James and His Clan of Coffey’s, a book about my long-lost great-great-grandfather, James Coffey. Bringing him and his family back to life showed me how powerful it is to recover a story that might otherwise have been forgotten. Now I help others do the same. I’m a small business, which means you’ll never be handed off or treated like a number. I take your family’s pedigree seriously and research it with care, but the story is always my focus. If you want your family’s history to be more than a chart of names, we’ll get along well.

Outside of work, I’m a lifelong lover of history, photography, research, music and travel. I’ve been married for over 40 years, and I’m the proud mother of four children and grandmother of nine, which is a big part of why legacy matters so much to me.
